J-strut is an award-winning telescopic steel prop for temporary use in structural and formwork applications.

Instead of setting the height with a manual handle found on a typical ‘acrow’ prop, the J-strut has a revolutionary gear collar which can be adjusted at the press of a trigger.

Simply attach the quick-fit pinion to a 1/2” impact wrench, locate over the locking pin and let the cordless power tool do the work.

Due to there being a wide variety of tube diameters, steel grades and thread specs on existing props, it is not feasible to offer a retrofit solution.

Instead, J-struts have been designed and manufactured from the ground up and rigorously load tested to meet industry standards. This ensures the end product is of the highest quality whilst being unrivalled in terms of safety and uncompromised in terms of strength.

When loaded concentrically and max 1.5 degrees out-of-plumb, the Size 1 J-strut will support 19kN when fully extended (310cm) and 32kN when fully closed (175cm).
